Written exam preparation classes

Our students and Graduates from Other Programs who would like additional help to review training course content in preparation for the state certification exam can choose to participate in one or more of the following modules.  (A vocabulary test will first be given to see if the program is appropriate for the student.)  Most students will need to complete all 3 modules before they are ready to take the written certification exam.

  • Standard Track Classes (on-going):  Includes nurse aide textbook chapter quizzes, basic nursing skills content review, practice final exams and nurse aide vocabulary exercises.
  • Advanced Oral Exam Preparation Classes (on-going):  Includes practice oral final exams and vocabulary exercises to help prepare students for the oral exam option of the CNA certification written exam.
  • Self-paced Internet Practice Tests:  From Headmaster, 72 questions per test.  Students access our online Nurse Aide exam tutorials which provide them with immediate feedback as they answer sample exam questions.  At the end of each tutorial, they receive their score and a summary of the vocabulary words and key concepts they need to study further.
