Partial Scholarships

A limited number of partial-tuition scholarships are available to qualified, low-income individuals interested in participating in our Nurse Aide Training Program, our Skills Practice Workshops or our Written-Exam Preparation Classes.

Many of our prospective students are in need of financial assistance, so the process is highly competitive.  In selecting which applicants will receive scholarship assistance and the amount of the assistance, we will consider each applicant’s level of financial need.  Preference is given to single parents who are supporting young children.

Our partial scholarships are made available through grant funds and individual contributions; therefore the amount of funds available varies throughout the year.  If you are interested in being considered for a partial scholarship, please contact our office at least a month before you hope to begin our training program.

Immigrant Support Program

Due to special grant funding through Wheat Ridge Ministries, qualified non-native English speakers can access partial scholarships through our Immigrant Support Program.  Partial scholarships are available to qualified immigrant participants of our Nurse Aide Training Program, Written-Exam Preparation Classes and Skills Practice Workshops.

Workforce Center Grants

Through Workforce Investment Act (WIA) grants, local county Workforce Centers are often able to provide funding for eligible individuals, especially single mothers, interested in completing Nurse Aide training.  If you are interested in this program, please ask us for more information.
