Nurse Aide Training Program

Our Nurse Aide Training Program classes meet for a three-week period, Monday through Friday.  Most days are from 8:30 am to 1:45 pm, except for 3 clinical days from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm at a local nursing home.

Classes are held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (9th and Emerson Street) in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

In addition to the formal class, students should plan to attend 4 or 5 skills practice workshops before their State Board exam.

Skills Practice Workshopsschedule

Skills Practice Workshops are offered on an ongoing basis.  Workshops are 1½ to 2 hours long and are normally offered in the morning.  

Written-Exam Preparation Classes

Written-Exam Preparation Classes are offered in the morning on an ongoing basis.  A vocabulary test will first be given to see if the program is appropriate for interested participants.
